Why use Samtat Digital?

Samtat Digital is committed to helping companies grow their businesses by utilizing Internet based technologies. With a depth of experience and past successes behind us, few companies if any can be compared on a like for like basis.

We’re not a large company, nor do we wish to become one, we are a small, highly experienced and very dedicated company that cares about our clients. We like to think that we go that little bit further in helping our customers to understand the Internet arena and to succeed online.

By offering a complete package encompassing website design, website hosting, website maintenance and website promotion we give all our clients the best chance of success online.

I’m interested in your packages are there any hidden costs?

Absolutely not, we charge an initial set-up fee and then an agreed upon monthly fee, as detailed upon our order form, there are absolutely no other costs involved apart from the purchase of your own domain name provided you pay by credit card.

Additionally it should be noted that by purchasing any of our packages you are in effect purchasing an amount of design time, this design time is normally more than sufficient to design your new website, provided that we are allowed to do so… our aim being to avoid:

Constant design changes.

Designing the website on screen on the fly.

Designing by committee.

Etc.

Should this allocated design time be exceeded then additional costs will be incurred.

Please Note: Should we have to invoice you for payment, chase up late payments, etc... then we charge an additional administration fee of $5.00

How do I pay my rental payments?

Payments are due in advance not in arrears and usually around the 1st or 2nd of each month. We accept periodical payments direct to our paypal account or we can auto-debit your Visa or Mastercard each month.

Please Note: Should we have to invoice you for payment, chase up late payments, etc... then we charge an additional administration fee of $5.00

Please Note: If your account goes into arrears, your rental website may be turned off until payment is received.

Why can I only pay my account monthly?

Samtat Digital are pleased to tell you that you can pay your account monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually. Please email samtatdigital@yahoo.com and request your account be updated to the payment date of your choice.

What about domain name registration?

Domain names are not included in any of our packages as we believe each client should register their own domain name, in their own company name thus avoiding all possible conflicts of interest, etc. We utilize www.domaindirect.com or domainforwarding to register our own domain names, the process is easy and very straight forward, please utilize this company if you wish or another reputable registrant.

Once you have registered your domain name we will arrange to have it pointed towards your website hosting account, making your website live and as full email facilities are included with all of our hosting packages this will also give you domain based email facilities (yourname@yourdomain.com)

What do you need from me?

This is your website so we need your input to make it achieve what you want it to achieve. We work with you, taking your ideas, plans, etc., turning them in to a website that is attractive and functional utilizing our business acumen and technology skills and expertise.

Initially we’ll need to know which design templates you like, we ask that you select two or three so that we can then select the most appropriate one based upon the implementation of our editor, etc... We’ll then need a copy of your logo and anything else you might wish to show us.

Our aim is to work with you to make this process as straight forward and painless as possible for everyone concerned.

Do I have a say in what my website looks like?

Absolutely... initially we ask for some content, pictures and information. Our designers then review your information and choose a couple of designs that best meets your requirements... you can then select one from these. We then change the color scheme to suit your colors, add in your logo and typical front page content... which you are then able to review prior to the website being built...

When selecting the most appropriate design template, our designers pay particular attention to your requirements, to your business model and to how the finished website will be viewed by your customers.

Although every effort will be made to accommodate any specific design template you may have chosen / any specific design requirements, the final decision is always made by Samtat Digital on your behalf. It should also be noted that Samtat Digital has a substantial number of years of experience in this field, we have designed hundreds of Websites and our team is extremely well qualified… and as such all of this experience is utilized on your behalf.

How long will it take to have my website created?

From receipt of all website content (logos, text, graphics, etc), a website will typically take no longer than one to two weeks to complete. It all depends on our workload and the complexity of the template chosen and your own specific requirements.

Can I change the content of my website?

For any additional changes once the page is up, a member of the Samtat Digital staff will be more than happy to assist.

If I do not use my maintenance time does it accumulate?

Absolutely not, each client is allocated up to twenty minutes maintenance per month, this time is either utilized or lost.

Who actually owns my website?

The finished website remains the property of Samtat Digital, as one of our customers you are in effect renting your website from Samtat Digital and are not purchasing it outright. By operating in this manner we have been able to do away with all large initial design costs.

What is the minimum contract length?

There is no mimimun length of contract, you are free to cancel at anytime by simply giving us one months notice in writing. Upon receipt of such a notice we immediately bill your account one more time and then the account is scheduled for immediate closure.

Can I see examples of websites your company has designed?

Absolutely, if you click here you will be directed to our portfolio page, which allows you to see some of the many websites we have developed.

How can I keep track of the visitors to my website?

All of our websites have a counter at the bottom corner of each of our sites.

I already have a website, can you still help?

Absolutely, we can take your existing content and incorporate this in your new website, presenting it in a much more vibrant and interesting way. And although much of the content will remain the same, the results will speak for itself.
